VPI Participation at PDAC 2024 Convention

The Voluntary Principles Initiative (VPI) is pleased to once again be part of the upcoming Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention, the mining event taking place in Toronto, Canada, from March 3 to 6, 2024.  

The VPI Secretariat will be hosting a booth located at 6635N, North Trade Show, within the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. Hard copies of recently launched materials and other useful tools will be available at the booth. 

We welcome industry professionals and stakeholders who are interested to connect and to learn more about the Voluntary Principles and security best practices in the mining sector to visit our booth.  

When: Sunday, March 3 – Wednesday, March 6, 2024 

Where: Booth #6635N (Trade Show North), Metro Toronto Convention Centre

About the Voluntary Principles 

The Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) are an internationally recognized set of principles that guide companies on how to conduct their security operations while ensuring respect for human rights. 

To promote implementation of the Principles, the Voluntary Principles Initiative (VPI) was created. The Initiative is comprised of over 60 members including companies, governments, and non-governmental organizations that share best practices and mutually support the implementation of the Principles.
